Dear Lorne Park Clarkson Hockey Association families,
As many of you have heard, on October 3, 2020 the Greater Toronto Hockey League (GTHL) announced that all sanctioned activities within its jurisdiction (which includes the Mississauga Hockey League and its’ 6 Area Association partners) are postponed until at least January 1, 2021 pending further advice from health authorities. With the current cases of COVID 19 on the rise, and reaching the highest number recorded yet, the decision was made to prohibit indoor sports activities.
The MHL in partnership with the Board of the six Associations have made the very difficult decision to suspend all standard operations for the 2020/2021 hockey season (read full memo at www.hockey.on.ca).
Although disappointing, hopefully this will assist in curtailing the spread of this virus.
Lorne Park Clarkson Hockey Association will be refunding all registered players any monies that have been paid to the Lorne Park Clarkson Hockey Association. We will commit to completing this task by November 30th. This is a large task and it will take time and much effort but we will we try to complete it as quickly as possible.
On behalf of the Board of Lorne Park Clarkson Hockey Association, we would like to thank you for your patience and understanding during this time.
If you have any further questions, please do not hesitate to contact a member of the Board (see list at http://www.lpcha.ca/content/2020-2021-lpcha-board-of-directors).
Stay safe!
Michael Doyle
